The third promotional video for the TV anime "Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise," based on the popular manga by Yuuki Urushibara currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), has been released on YouTube. The work is based on the fairy tale "Momotaro," and the promotional video shows a powerful battle scene between the Oni Agency and the Momotaro Agency. The third key visual, showing the two agencies facing off against each other, has also been released.
Additional cast members were also announced, including Daisuke Kishio as Momomiya Tsubakiri, Mariya Ise as Momokusa Hou, Tsuyoshi Koyama as Ichinose Tsuyoshi, Yasunori Masutani as Momoya Samidare, and Megumi Ogata as the principal.
The original mini-animation "Oni Momo Momo" has been released on YouTube. It is a spinoff in which the members of Rakshas Academy act out the folktale "Momotaro."
"Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise" is a manga that has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" since 2020. Based on the fairy tale "Momotaro," it depicts the conflict between those with the blood of demons and those with the blood of Momotaro.
The anime will be directed by Ato Nonaka and produced by Studio Hibari. It will be broadcast every Friday at 11pm on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Furaani)" from July 11th.
