It has been revealed that Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, who previously hosted the show, will be appearing on Fuji TV's large-scale music program "2025 FNS Song Festival Summer" (July 2nd, 6:30 pm). This will be Kusanagi's first appearance on the "FNS Song Festival" in about 10 years.
While appearing as an artist, Kusanagi also hosted the "FNS Song Festival" from 2005 to 2014. When asked how he felt when he received the offer, Kusanagi commented, "At first, I turned it down. I thought it would be impossible for me to sing and play the guitar by myself." However, he added, "I was really moved when I saw (Katori) Shingo singing by himself on the '2024 FNS Song Festival, Night 2'. I initially turned it down, but then I felt a strong desire to try as much as I could, so I decided to give it my best and appear."
This time, Kusanagi will perform "STAY WITH ME," which he wrote and composed himself. Regarding the current host, Aiba Masaki, Kusanagi said, "When I was the host, everyone in Arashi helped me out. This time, I want Aiba to ease my tension with his warmth." He added, "I'll do my best, so I'm looking forward to seeing you on the day!"
