"Since I Took You Away" - viewers "can't stop crying" at "Asahi"Nao Omori's groveling and "Hiromi"Keiko Kitagawa's "soulful cry"

The ninth episode of the drama series " Since I Took You Away " (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm), starring actress Keiko Kitagawa , was broadcast on June 16th. The scene depicted Asahi (Nao Omori) confessing the truth about the food accident that caused the death of Hiromi's (Kitagawa) daughter Akari (Shuma Nao Omori), caused a stir on social media.

In episode 9, Asahi is shocked to find out that Hiromi is a family member of a victim of the accident they caused 11 years ago. Meanwhile, Mochizuki (Michitaka Tsutsui), who thought he had seen the train keychain Hiromi had before, goes to Hiromi's house to find out the truth behind his uneasy feeling. Then, Miumi (Kasumi Isshiki) comes out of Hiromi's room with the same keychain in her bag. Mochizuki is convinced that Miumi is Hiromi's daughter, but he senses a resemblance to a certain girl in her appearance, and a certain suspicion arises. Then, Miumi, who he mistook for a fellow train otaku, talks to him, and he asks Miumi if she has two moles on her left elbow.

Mochizuki begins to question Hiromi and her family. However, upon learning of Mochizuki's movements, Asahi reveals Hiromi's true identity and warns him not to get involved with her any more. Meanwhile, Asahi orders them to identify the caller of a phone call that was made to the number used to search for Moeko. He was curious about the voice of a young girl that he heard on the other end of the line.

Meanwhile, Asahi visits Ririko (Taira Yuna) who is hospitalized and discovers the cause of Ririko's overdose. Asahi tells her, "You don't have to worry about anything," but Ririko looks frightened. Then that night, Hiromi receives a call from Hiromi. When Hiromi is puzzled by Asahi's words that he has something to talk about, the next moment Asahi mentions the name of Hiromi's late daughter. He then invites Hiromi to his house to tell her the real reason why Akari lost her life... and so the story unfolds.

Towards the end of the film, there was a scene where Hiromi and Suna (Nimura Sawa) were at Asahi's house and the truth behind the food accident was revealed. According to Asahi, on the day the accident occurred, the kitchen staff at "Yuki Deli" was on vacation, and the helper who came in at short notice carelessly put shrimp in the food. Hiromi questioned Asahi about whether he was protecting the helper, and Ririko, who came into the room, confessed that she was the one who was in the kitchen as a helper. She revealed that she had been in a hurry due to the lack of manpower and had neglected to check the recipe, which led to the shrimp being put in.

Then Asahi, his ex-wife Emiko (Tsuruta Mayu), and Ririko, who hid the truth out of consideration for Ririko, kneel down on the ground and apologize to Hiromi.

Hiromi screamed at Asahi and the others, who were kneeling, "Stop it!" She then confessed that she still blamed herself for causing Akari's death, and cried out, "If only I could meet you, look you in the face, and say I'm sorry like you guys did... Even if you can finish, I'll never be able to finish!" as she left the room.

On social media, comments about the truth behind the food accident and Hiromi's cry included, "I feel so sorry for all the characters, it's so sad," "Everyone is suffering," "It's too painful," "The truth is painful," "I can't stop crying," "Keiko Kitagawa's acting made me cry..." and "I'm sobbing."
