The eighth episode of the TV drama series "PJ: Air Rescue Team" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring actor Seiyo Uchino, aired on June 12th, and the conversation between the reunited Usami (Uchino) and Fujiki (Anna Ishii) attracted attention.
In episode 5 (broadcast on May 22), Fujiki declined the rescuer course and left Komaki Air Base. In episode 8, he returned to Komaki Air Base with the aim of becoming a flight engineer (FE), and reunited with his former instructor Usami and his classmates who had undergone rigorous training with him.
When Fujiki stated her new determination, saying, "Even if I can't become a PJ myself, I want to support the PJs on the front lines!", Usami, seemingly moved, exclaimed, "This is what I want to say right now from the bottom of my heart! Bravo!"
Fujiki, who listened to Usami's "Bravo!" with his arms spread wide in joy, caused a stir on social media with viewers saying things like, "Fujiki-san was getting praised by Instructor Usami! He's so cute," and "Fujiki-san is so happy to be showered with praise, so cute."
There were also many positive comments such as, "I'm glad they were shining bright even though they couldn't become PJs," "FE means they provide support in the helicopter during rescue operations. I'd like to see a scene like that!" and "Everyone loves the instructor so much it's heartwarming."
