The short film "Leave it to Kero-chan!", which was shown alongside the second film of the anime "Cardcaptor Sakura," based on the popular manga by the manga creation group CLAMP, will be screened again from July 11th. As the first gift for attendees, it has been announced that a B5-sized illustrated card featuring an illustration by CLAMP will be distributed from July 11th. As the second gift, an original colored paper drawn by chief animation director Abe Tsune will be distributed from July 18th. Both the first and second gifts will be distributed randomly in two types.
The theatrical version of "The Sealed Card," which was released on July 15, 2000, will be screened again to commemorate its 25th anniversary. It was also announced that a stage greeting to commemorate the 25th anniversary will be held on July 12 at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku, Tokyo). Sakura Tange, who plays Sakura Kinomoto, and Motoko Kumai, who plays Syaoran Li, will be on stage.
"Cartoon Crossover Sakura" is a manga that was serialized in the manga magazine "Nakayoshi" (Kodansha) from 1996 to 2000, depicting the struggles of fourth grade elementary school student Sakura Kinomoto as she uses magic to collect the Clow Cards, which are said to bring disaster. A TV anime series was broadcast on NHK from 1998 to 2000. The TV anime "Clear Card Arc," featuring Sakura as a junior high school student, was broadcast on NHK BS Premium from January to June 2018 and also attracted attention. It has also been announced that a sequel to the anime will be produced.
