It has been revealed that actors Atsuki Mashiko and Hinami Mori will be appearing in "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Formation Lap: Killers of the Galaxy," which will be released this summer on the app service "TTFC (Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club)."
The series is a spin-off of "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger," which ended in February, and will bring together additional warriors from the Super Sentai series. Mashiko and Mori appeared in "Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger," which aired from 2021 to 2022, and will once again play the siblings Zocks Goldtwiker and Flint Goldtwiker in this series.
Mashiko commented, "I was so happy and delighted to be called back to play the role of Zox. I met Mori Hinami, who plays Flint, and Hinamin for the first time in a long time, and the atmosphere was filled with nostalgia and the feeling of being home was incredible. We all smiled and said, "This is what it means to be emotional."
Addressing the fans, he said, "I'm happy to see you all again. I think it's all because you all love Two Kaiser, Zox, and the Gold Tweaker family. We've got an all-star cast of additional warriors, but I think my individuality is second to none."
Mori commented, "It's been four years since 'Zenkaiger' and I co-starred with Zocks (Atchan), but when I put on that costume there was the same atmosphere as back then! It's always reassuring to have Zocks there, and when I heard 'Yohohoi' I felt such a sense of relief that it was almost jealous. And our characteristic light-hearted story was still there (laughs). I hope that I can return to my beloved special effects again someday, so I hope you all look forward to the spin-off! Bye-bye!"
