Videos of the second season of the TV anime " Dandadan ," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," have been released on YouTube. In the "Occult & Battle" video, while the opening theme "Kakumei Dochu" by Aina the End plays, the video shows a fight between Okarun and a mysterious man in briefs, Momo being blown away by Kito Naki, Manjiro, Chiquitita, and Hoshiko staring intently at something with a charm in his hand, offering a glimpse of the fierce battles of the second season.
The "Friendship & Love" video depicts the everyday lives of high school students, including a heart-warming scene in which Momo and Okarun gradually grow closer to "love," as well as scenes in which Aila and Jiji join in and the four of them go about their busy daily lives.
It was also announced that solo artist WurtS will be performing the ending theme "Dokashiteru", which was unveiled in the "Yuugen & Love" video. WurtS said, "As a huge fan of the Dandadan manga and anime, I'm truly honored to be involved in this production. In a crazy world where all sorts of lifeforms suddenly appear, you want to express your feelings, but you're clumsy, but you want to meet someone, but things get complicated... it's crazy... I've created a wonderful song that's packed with all that excitement and thrills. I hope you enjoy it."
"Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump +" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they face one strange phenomenon after another. The comic has sold over 10 million copies in total.
The first season of the anime aired on the MBS/TBS late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" from October to December 2024. The second season will air in the same slot starting July 3rd.
