It has been announced that the TV anime "Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse", based on the manga by Narumi Naru, who is also known for "Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san", will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations starting July 4th. Additional cast members have also been announced, including Umezawa Megu as Umezawa Makina, Nakajima Yoshiki as Tokui Shigenobu, and Yano Hinaki as Watari Suzushiro.
It was also announced that Yuika will be in charge of the opening theme "I Want to Be a Ghost" and Ayana D's band project "PEDRO" will be in charge of the ending theme "Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai." The second promotional video featuring the opening theme and the third promotional video featuring the ending theme were released simultaneously.
The work is a manga serialized in "Monthly Young Magazine" (Kodansha), and tells the story of Watari Naoto, a second-year high school student who, after losing his parents, has given up on romance, club activities, part-time jobs, and friendships in order to make his younger sister, Suzushiro, his top priority in life. However, when his childhood friend, Tatehana Satsuki, transfers to the school, his peaceful daily life begins to fall apart.
