The eighth episode of the drama series " Since I Took You Away " (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm), starring actress Keiko Kitagawa , was broadcast on June Getsuku. In the episode, Asahi (Nao Nao Omori) confesses to Hiromi(Kitagawa) about a food accident he once caused, which caused a stir on social media.

In episode 8, Hiromi is asked by Sawa (Nimura Sawa) to respond to an interview as the victim's mother in order to reveal the truth that Asahi is hiding. Sawa explains to Hiromi that she is the daughter of Washio (Mizusawa Shingo), who was the head chef at "Yuki Deli," and explains the reason for pursuing Hiromi , who could no longer believe that Asahi was 100% a bad person, is conflicted.
Meanwhile, Kumura (Abe Ryohei), who is having dinner with Ririko (Taira Yuna), is shown a photo taken at a party in Hayama. There is a woman he recognizes, and Kumura is told that she is "Nakakoshi-san," a subordinate of Asahi. Curious about her identity, he visits the nursery school where Hiromi used to work.
Meanwhile, Hiromi, who has been suspicious of Miumi (Kasumi Isshiki) who has recently started coming home late and wearing makeup, finds out that she has become close with a station employee, Hiragi (Toranosuke Kobayashi). The two get into a big fight, and Miumi leaves the house.
At the same time, Asahi receives news that Ririko has collapsed and been taken to the hospital. Ririko, who had taken an overdose of medicine, says she doesn't want to see anyone. Ironically, the events that occurred at both homes bring Hiromi and Asahi closer together...or so the story goes.
Hiromi and Asahi, who were working overtime in an empty office, finished work and chatted over a drink in hand. Asahi, who hadn't had alcohol in 10 years and 10 months, suddenly blurted out, "On that day, 10 years and 10 months ago, a girl ate a prepared meal made by my company...Minagawa Akari (Ishihara Shuma) passed away," and continued, "She was only 3 years old. I took away her long life that was supposed to have just begun."
When Hiromi instinctively asks "Me?", Asahi confesses, "We, Yuki Deli, are the ones who took the life of a 3-year-old girl. We accidentally mixed in shrimp." Then, in front of the distraught Hiromi, Asahi groaned and said, "After receiving my punishment, I finally realized. How sorry I am to Minagawa Akari and her parents...I am truly sorry..."Hiromi, knowing Asahi's feelings, began to shed tears.
Afterwards, when the alarm sound of "Kisya Poppo" came from Asahi's smartphone, Hiromi remembered the image of Akari and Moeko (Eima Kurata) singing, and asked Asahi with tears in her eyes, "That song..." When Asahi replied, "Because I liked Moeko,"Hiromi started to say, crying, "I'm sorry... I'm your...", but could not say any more, and left the place saying, "I'm sorry... Excuse me."
