On June 10th, it was revealed that the European solo concert "YOASOBI LIVE AT WEMBLEY ARENA" held by the music unit "YOASOBI" on June 8th and 9th will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in August. The concert was held at the "OVO Arena Wembley" in London.
This solo performance was originally scheduled for June 8th, but tickets immediately sold out, so an additional performance was held the following day. The program will be recorded on both days.
In September, a program titled "YOASOBI Special Program at WEMBLEY ARENA" will be broadcast and streamed, which will include behind-the-scenes footage of the live show and interviews with composer Ayase and vocalist ikura, revealing the details behind the scenes of the show.
Both programs will be archived and available for viewing on WOWOW On Demand for a limited period of one week after broadcast.
YOASOBI's debut song "Racing into the Night" (2019) has exceeded 1.2 billion cumulative streaming views. "Idol", released in April 2023, became the first J-POP group to reach No. 1 in the world on the US Billboard Global Chart and YouTube Music Chart. Since 2023, they have been performing on an Asian tour, at shows and festivals in the US and Europe, and have gained worldwide popularity.
