Actor Miyoko Asada will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) on June Getsuku at 1pm. She made her debut in a TV drama in 1973 at the age of 16. She has been in show business for over half a century.
She is currently 69 years old. She is playing the grandmother of the heroine Nobu (played by Mio Imada ) in the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " that is currently being broadcast, and there has been a lot of buzz about "Miyo-chan" playing the grandmother. She talks about her memories of actor Nishida Toshiyuki, who played a married couple in the movie "Tsuribaka Nisshi" and who passed away last October, as well as fun stories about Kiki Kirin, who was like a family member to her and has been gone for seven years.
His mother developed leukemia at the age of 68 and passed away two years later at the age of 70. Next year he will be the same age as his mother when she died.
