The cast for the Japanese dub of the popular anime "The Reincarnated Sect Master's Path of Domination: Crawling Up with the Everything-Swallowing Fish," which began streaming on China's largest video site, bilibili, in May, has been announced, revealing that Toshiki Masuda, Manaka Iwami, Hidaka Rina, and Takehito Koyasu will appear.
Masuda will play two roles: Fan Lingxiao, who aimed to become the best in the world but lost his life just before achieving his long-cherished wish, and his reincarnated young man Liu Fengman. Iwami will play the heroine, Gu Ling, a spirit beast master belonging to Lingxiao Pavilion, Hidaka will play Bai Liansu, the intelligent and strong-willed daughter of the Bai family, and Koyasu will play Bai Danshu, the eldest son of the Bai family with a handsome face.
It was also announced that the band "CROWN HEAD" will be in charge of the opening theme "Hozuki". A promotional video was also released, featuring key visuals of the main characters and battle scenes with the spirit beasts.
The story is about a young man who is swallowed by his own spirit beast and dies an untimely death, but is reincarnated and given a new life, aiming to become the best in the world again. The number of views has exceeded 10 million in about two weeks since its release, and it has become very popular. It will be broadcast every Wednesday at 1:15 am on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "B8station" from July 2nd.
