It has been announced that the TV anime "Champignon no Majo", based on the latest work by manga artist Higuchi Tachibana, known for the popular manga "Gakuen Alice", will be broadcast on TBS and other networks from January 2026. A teaser visual was also released, depicting Luna lying down deep in the black forest and looking up at the sky. The first animated video, a teaser PV, was also released on YouTube, depicting the daily life of the kind-hearted black witch Luna. In the second half of the video, the memorable words "Meetings and partings of a lonely girl" are displayed, along with scenes of Luna with an uplifting expression and a sad scene of her shedding tears.
The manga has been serialized on Hakusensha's manga app "Manga Park" since 2019. Luna, who is feared by people as a black witch because poisonous mushrooms grow wherever she talks, touches, or walks, falls in love for the first time... It is a magical fantasy of love, adventure, and emotion.
