The character designs and prequel novel for the manga "Mobile Suit Gundam Eight" were published in the July issue of the manga magazine "Monthly Gundam Ace" (KADOKAWA), which went on sale on May 26th.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Eight" is a completely new alternative series that will begin serialization in the magazine's August issue, which goes on sale June 26th.
Ahead of the series' serialization, character designs by popular illustrator Hidari and an original prequel novel written by Kamoshida Hajime, who is in charge of the scenario, were published.
