The 40th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on May 23rd, and the words of Jiro ( Ayumu Nakajima) became a hot topic among viewers.
Nobu receives a letter from Jiro asking if they can meet again. Nobu goes to see Jiro again to tell him her honest feelings.

"I feel like I'm in limbo, both as a teacher and as the eldest daughter of the Asada family. Even if I get married, I'm not sure I can make Jiro happy," she confessed.
Jiro said, "If a ship were to carry so many heavy loads, it would sink. Why don't we prepare to unload the load?" He continued, "When the time comes, we'll be able to run as hard as we can. There is no war that never ends. When that time comes, the world may have changed completely. In anticipation of that, we should start dreaming now."
When Nobu said she couldn't think of a dream, Jiro smiled and said, "It's okay if you think about it slowly. You're fast, Nobu, so you'll catch up soon. If there's even the slightest bit of space for you to live with me...marry me. If there's no space, then I'll give up."
On the way home, Nobu remembers the words of his late father, Yutaro (Ryo Kase), who used to say, "(You can find your dream) slowly. Once you find it, run with all your might. Nobu is fast, so you can always make it." Nobu turns back and calls out to Jiro, saying, "If you're okay with me, I know I'm clumsy, but I'd appreciate it if you'd be so kind."
Jiro delivered a succession of touching lines, and comments on social media included, "Jiro is such a nice person," "He has an adult charm that's just unbelievable," "Jiro is a quote-maker second only to Hiroshi," "When you hear so many great quotes in a row, that's what happens," "It's rare to find someone as wonderful as him," and "He's kind and has some similarities with his father.
