The eighth episode of the drama series " Taigan no Kaji ~Kore ga, Watashi no Ikiru Michi~" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Mikako Tabe , aired on May 20th. The episode depicted events from the childhood of Nakatani Tatsuya, played by Dean Fujioka, and became a hot topic on social media.

He has forgotten his watch and diaper, and is wearing the wrong socks. Shiho (Tabe) senses something is off when she sees Nakatani like this and points out, "It's weird that Nakatani is so useless. He's definitely weird. He's tired." In order to help him out even a little, Shiho decides to give Nakatani her stock of side dishes.
While Nakatani was waiting at the entrance to Shiho's house, he received a call from his mother. The memory of his childhood, when he was forced to study with his mother and told, "Let's work hard and pass the exams together," and her mother scolded him, saying, "If you fail here, you will never be able to contribute to society," came back to Nakatani. He then lost consciousness.
Resting in Shiho's room, Nakatani regained consciousness. "That person... my mother was a full-time housewife. My father was an elite who didn't care about his family, and our relationship was cold. He quit his job to stay at home, and all that was left for him was housework and children," he began to tell Shiho about his childhood.
One day, while Nakatani was studying, he heard the voices of children playing outside and instinctively looked out the window.
When his mother noticed this, she shouted, "Tatsuya, what are you doing?" and, in a fit of rage, hit Nakaya with the hand mixer in hand. Nakaya started bleeding.
"That man tried to control my life to satisfy his own ego," said Nakatani. Shiho comforted him by saying, "It must have hurt when you hit him," but Nakatani spat out, "I've already forgotten about that."
