A key visual has been released to commemorate the 1.5th anniversary of the smartphone game " Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade," based on the popular manga by Jujutsu Kaisen Gege Akutami . The visual shows Satoru Gojo, Geto Suguru Geto, Shoko Ieiri, Kento Nanami, and Yu Haibara setting off fireworks during their time at Jujutsu Technical College. The visual will be given away as an SSR Reminiscence Remnant "Blue Spring, Lighting Fireworks" during the "1.5th Anniversary Campaign" starting on May 21.
The "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" chronological story event "Blue and a Hundred Mysteries" will be held from 3pm on May 21st. The SSR Reminiscence Remnant "Who is the Millionaire?" will be available as a limited reward. The Memory Quest "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu", where you can relive the story of "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu", will be held again from 3pm on May 30th. The "Jujutsu Kaisen Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" Gacha will be held at the same time, featuring the SSR characters "[Awakening] Satoru Gojo" and "[Woohoo] Shoko Ieiri", as well as the SSR Reminiscence Remnants "A Summer Day That Doesn't Want to End" and "The Regular Game Center".
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from March 2018 to September 2024. The story is about a high school student, Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The total number of copies of the comic series published is over 100 million.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime, Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu/ Shibuya Incident, aired from July to December 2023. The production of a sequel to the anime, Culling Game , has also been announced.
"Jujutsu Jujutsu Kaisen - Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu ", a compilation of "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu", will be released on May 30th.
