Synopsis of Episode 4 of "A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You" released

The synopsis and stills from the 4th episode, which will air on May 15th, of the drama series " A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring Kyoko Yoshine, have been released.

Natsumi Ebata (Yoshine) joins the Hanaikada Society, a gathering of wives of naval officers. Natsumi is scolded by the chairman for not being used to preparing, but Fumiko Yoshimori (Yamamoto Maika) comes to her rescue. Fumiko, the chairman's niece, is single and works as a typist.

At the meeting, Natsumi is told that it is important to know her husband, Takimasa (Honda Kyoya),'s past, and begins to worry about it. At that time, Fumiko comes to visit the Ebata family.

While making rice curry together, Natsumi confides in Fumiko her worries about Takimasa's past. Upon hearing this, Fumiko invites Shibahara Ikuko (Wakui Emi), the wife of Takimasa's superior officer, to join them for rice curry.

With Fumiko's encouragement, Natsumi decides to ask Ikuko about Takitasa. However, Ikuko also doesn't know anything about Takitasa before he came to the Shibahara household.

Natsumi's younger sister Fuyuko ( Aya Ogawa) and childhood friend Juntaro Seta (Rio Komiya) come to visit her. Meanwhile, Takimasa, who has been away from home, returns home for the first time in a long time and opens the front door to find Seta there.

The story is based on the manga of the same name by Nishika Hachi, which is currently being serialized on Kodansha's manga app Comic Days. It depicts the love story that begins in 1936, when Natsumi, who was proposed to and married on "zero days of dating," and Imperial Navy lieutenant Takitaka Ebata begin their married life together.
