"Godzilla: King of the Monsters" (2019), the sequel to the Hollywood remake of the popular monster movie series "Godzilla" (2014), will be broadcast on BS12 TwellV from 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 27th. This work not only features Godzilla, but also the resurrected monsters of mythical times such as Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. They will fight for world dominance.
Directed by Michael Dougherty, known for his original ideas and screenplays for "X-Men 2" and "Superman Returns," the film stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Sally Hawkins, and Zhang Ziyi. Ken Watanabe continues to play Dr. Ishirou Serizawa from the previous film.
An armed group attacks the base of Monarch, a secret organization that studies and protects monsters. A researcher, Dr. Emma Russell, and her daughter, Madison, are kidnapped. Monarch's Serizawa suspects that the cause of the kidnapping is the Orca device that Emma was researching. It is a dangerous device that generates sounds that resonate with monsters, making it possible to control them.
Serizawa seeks help from Mark Russell, who once worked with Emma on the research of the Orca Device and was also her husband. Mark, who knows the horror of the device better than anyone else, pleads for the monster to be destroyed as soon as possible. However, it is already too late. After Godzilla, sensing something strange, appears, monsters appear all over the world and begin fighting for supremacy. Monarch begins to move to recapture the kidnapped Emma and Madison, as well as the Orca Device.
