It has been announced that "Mobile Suit Gundam Eight" will be serialized in the manga magazine "Monthly Gundam Ace" (KADOKAWA). It will be a "completely new alternative series" originating from the magazine.
The "Alternative Series" refers to works set outside the Universal Century, and was announced in the June issue of "Monthly Gundam Ace," which went on sale April 25th.
The issue also featured the first public reveal of the visual and story of the new main Gundam.
