The second episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Caster " (Sunday 9:00 pm) starring Hiroshi Abe was broadcast on April 20th. Emma Miyazawa's character, Ichinose Sakiko, the editor-in-chief of the news program "Newsgate", became a hot topic on social media.

The drama is set in a television news program and is a socially conscious entertainment piece that pursues the truth buried in the darkness and brings evil to justice.
Sakikubo (Nagano Mei), the general director, visits Shindo (Abe) together with AD Motohashi (Mei Nagano). When she reports that she "asked the questions as she was told," Shindo says, "I'll take responsibility." Ichinose then comes over and tells her, "No, I'll take responsibility. So please speak up. A program is made by a team."
Later, on the show, Shindo reported that Japan's volleyball ace Nawa (Suzuki Takayuki) had received financial transactions on his cell phone from an account believed to be a gambling bookmaker. When Shindo explained the details on the show, Kaiba (Takashi Okabe), the head of the news bureau, panicked, saying, "Hey, what's going on here?" Producer Yamai (Otoo Takuma) then asked, "Could it be that Ichinose-kun knew?"
Ichinose answered "Yes," and stated firmly, "I decided that there were other things that were more important than the sponsor's wishes."
After the program ended, Kaiba questioned Shindo, to which Ichinose replied, "As the editor-in-chief, it is my job to decide what to report. Shindo is not responsible." Ichinose was also shown expressing his opinion, saying, "It's not a matter of the size of the story, it's a matter of the attitude of the reporter. If you're too considerate to your sponsors, you can't report well!"
