The second episode of the Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Second to Last Love 3, " starring actors Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai , aired on April 21st, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 8.4% for households and 4.8% for individuals.
The drama is set in Kamakura and is the third season of a romantic, home-comedy series depicting the love story between Koizumi, a TV producer, and Nakai, a civil servant working at Kamakura City Hall. The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada, who also wrote the first season in 2012 and the second in 2014. This work takes place 11 years after the second season.
In the second episode, Wahei Nagakura (Nakai) greets Ritsuko Hayata (Ishida Hikari), who has just joined the Kamakura City Tourist Association as a new staff member, but when Ritsuko hears his name... Meanwhile, Chiaki Yoshino (Koizumi) goes to the hospital after feeling palpitations and is attracted to the refreshing personality of the doctor, Senji Naruse (Miura Tomokazu), who is also surprised by the resemblance of Chiaki's face to his late wife.
After leaving the hospital, Chiaki goes to a soba restaurant and ends up sharing a table with Naruse again. There, she gets to know Naruse's personality and is captivated by him... and so the story unfolds.
