A special edited version of the main scene from the movie " Kisaragi Station Re:" starring Miyu Honda (directed by Nagae Jiro, released on June 13th) has been released. The new scene, which features a "mystery" that also appeared in the previous film, has attracted a lot of attention, recording 13 million impressions on various SNS sites, and was newly edited.
This work is a sequel to the horror film " Kisaragi Station Station" (released in 2022), which is based on the urban legend "Kisaragi Kisaragi Station" posted on the anonymous bulletin board "2channel" in 2004. The story is set three years after the previous work. It depicts the aftermath of Asuka (Honda), who returns from the otherworldly station "Kisaragi Station," and Haruna Tsutsumi (Tsunematsu Yuri), who was left behind. In addition to the cast of the previous work, including Eri Sato and Raiga Terasaka, Megumi Okina will appear as Hitomi Kakunaka, a video director who is a key person in the story.
This special edition features the mysterious "kind old man" that Asuka and Haruna encounter when they exit the Isanuki Tunnel, and the mysterious "mysterious old man" that appears in front of Asuka, Haruna and the others as they walk along the train tracks. Haruna makes a mad dash to punch the "kind old man," while the "mysterious old man" chases after him at breakneck speed, causing a huge explosion, creating an impactful scene.
It was also announced that a premiere screening will be held, with the director and cast appearing. Honda, Tsunematsu, Okina, Sato, and director Nagae Jiro will be in attendance, and the event will be held at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) from 6pm on May 22nd. Tickets cost 2,200 yen and will go on sale on the theater's official website from 6pm on the 18th.
