The first episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Caster" (Sunday 9:00 pm) starring Hiroshi Abe was broadcast on April 13th. Michieda Shunsuke of "Naniwa Danshi", who plays the role of Motohashi Yusuke, a rookie assistant director aspiring to be a journalist, became a hot topic on social media.

The drama is set in a TV news program and is a social entertainment piece that pursues the truth buried in the darkness and punishes evil. Abe plays the unconventional newscaster Soichi Shindo.
Motohashi, played by Michieda, is in his second year at JBN and is an assistant director for the news program "Newsgate." When asked by Shindo, "Why did you come to JBN?", he introduced himself by saying, "I want to be a journalist. I majored in journalism at a university in Boston where I studied abroad."
When Shindo asked him, "So you're an elite?", he blushed and revealed his true feelings, saying, "No...But in the end, I ended up doing odd jobs for the AD. I really wanted to be a reporter running around to crime scenes or something."
In the midst of this, Shindo was shown giving instructions: "Shall we go now? This is a journalism scene. Get the camera ready."
