Friday Road Show (Nippon TV, Friday 9pm) on April 4th will be broadcasting the second film in the Detective Conan series, The Fourteenth Target (1998), to celebrate the release of the latest film in the Detective Conan series, Flashback. This will be the third consecutive week that the Conan movies are on air.
Ran (Yamazaki Wakana), Kogoro (Kamiya Akira), and Conan (Takayama Minami) decide to go out to dinner with their estranged mother, Kisaki Eri (Minami Takayama). The meal proceeds in a friendly atmosphere, escorted by Sawaki Kohei (Nakao Ryusei), a sommelier who is familiar with Kogoro, but when Kogoro glances at another woman, Eri becomes furious. The mood is ruined.
A week later, Inspector Megure (Chafurin) is shot with a crossbow while jogging. Immediately after, Eiri, who had eaten poisoned chocolate delivered to her office, suddenly begins to suffer. As a paper sword and flowers were left at both crime scenes, the police determine that the same perpetrator must have committed the crimes. Meanwhile, Professor Agasa (Ogata Kenichi) is shot with a crossbow right in front of Conan. Conan corners the culprit, but he escapes just in time.
Next week on Friday Roadshow on April 11th, the ninth film in the series, "Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths" (2005), will be broadcast.
