The program began airing in April 2022 as the first variety show to be produced solely by a commercial broadcasting station, starring the comedy duo "Mitorizu," known as the "Theater Bosses of the West," Moriyama Shintaro and Lily, who moved to Tokyo from Osaka in 2022.
In the episode on March 23rd, a special edition of the popular project brought together the popular audition-based groups "HANA", "ME:I" and "timelesz". Kikuchi, who demonstrated his producing skills in "timelesz project-AUDITION-" (commonly known as Typero), gave a thorough analysis of the audition and also performed a collaborative performance that can only be seen here.
TVer will be streaming the complete version of " Mitorizu Jan 1 Hour Special ' Fuma Kikuchi x Otonaribu' Special Edition" until April 6th, including the part not shown on terrestrial TV. Also, April 6th will be the first broadcast of the show since it has been promoted to a late-night Sunday slot, and will air the popular segment "I can't say it out loud, but I can say it in a small voice," where people whisper about their true feelings that they normally can't say out loud. Also appearing will be Akira Kawashima from Kirin and Yuuki Iwai from Haraichi, who gave the advice that led to the "Otonaribu" project.
Regarding the record-breaking achievement, Moriyama Shintaro of "Mittorizu" commented, "I'm very happy that the program I'm in charge of has taken first place! I've also been promoted to a regular, so I'm even more powerful now! From now on, I'll be focusing only on TVer."
Fuma Kikuchi of "timelesz" commented, "Thanks to the positive feedback from people around me, the number of views on TVer has reached a record high for the show and it is ranked number one among variety shows, so I am very happy. Thank you. Although I was embarrassed doing the mantis dance (laughs), I am happy that I had fun recording thanks to the guests and staff. I would be very happy if you could watch what was happening on set on TVer."
