The first-ever exhibition to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the serialization of Kazue Kato's popular manga Blue Exorcist Exorcist, which is currently being serialized in Jump SQ. (Blue Exorcist), opened on March 11th at the Matsuya Ginza Event Square on the 8th floor (Chuo-ku, Tokyo). 425 pieces of artwork were on display, including Kato's delicately drawn original drawings and beautiful color illustrations. Valuable setting materials were also unveiled.
Upon entering the venue, visitors are greeted by an exhibition that allows them to experience "an invitation from Mephisto." In the "Memories of Blue" corner that follows, profiles of unique characters such as Rin Okumura and other students of the Exorcism Academy, Mephisto, and Shura are introduced, along with color illustrations that adorned the covers of their comics, all in beautiful stained glass-like decorations.
The exhibition features handwritten manuscripts from "Awakening" to "Unrivaled Satan - Resurrection", each accompanied by a comment from Kato and his assistants about the behind-the-scenes production, offering a glimpse into the production process. There is also a photo spot decorated with a statue of Mephistopheles. Original merchandise from the exhibition will be available for purchase at the shop.
