It has been revealed that the third season of the anime "One Punch Man ," based on the manga currently being serialized on the web manga site "Tonari no Young Jump" (Shueisha), will begin airing in October. A new visual featuring Saitama and all the heroes, the "Strongest Key Visual Ver.", and the first promotional video have been released.
It was also announced that Yuki Kaji , who plays Sonic the Hedgehog, will appear at the live event " One Punch Man Magic Music Festival" as part of the " One Punch Man 10th Anniversary 10 Hits Project" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime. The event will be held on September 14th at the Nerima Cultural Center Large Hall (Nerima Ward, Tokyo).
The series was first serialized on a website by ONE in 2009, and since 2012, the manga illustrated by Yusuke Murata has been serialized in Tonari no Young Jump. It depicts the exploits of Saitama, a hero who has acquired invincible powers and can defeat any enemy with a single punch. The series has sold over 32 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2015, and the second season from April to July 2019. It has also been announced that it will be adapted into a live-action Hollywood movie.
