The visuals and PV for the "KEEL" arc of the second season of the TV anime "WIND BREAKER" based on the popular yankee manga by Nii Satoru, Satoru Nii being serialized on Kodansha's web manga service "Magapoke", have been released. The visual features Haruka Sakura and others, and is accompanied by the copy "Don't underestimate the Bofurin!" The second season will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS and TBS from April 3rd.
It was also announced that the band "Shytorp" will be in charge of the ending theme "It's myself." "Shytorp" commented, "We are very happy to be involved in the production of "WIND BREAKER" through music. When we face ourselves, we experience doubts and pain, but in the midst of that, we encounter those we need to protect and the value of what we believe in, and begin to realize our true strength. We think that this is their song, and also our song. Thank you." The popular group "SixTONES" will be in charge of the opening theme.
The pre-screening event for the second season, "VS KEEL Pre-Show Battle," will be held at United Cinema Aquacity Odaiba (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on March 29. Voice actors Yuma Uchida, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Junya Enoki will be in attendance.
"WIND BREAKER" began serialization on Magapoke in January 2021. It depicts Haruka Sakura , who enrolls in Fuurin High School , a school notorious for being an extremely delinquent school, becoming a member of the group Bofurin, which protects the town, and fighting. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024.
