On March 3rd, Aiki Suda of the idol group "Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu" appeared at a press conference held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) prior to the release event for her first photobook "Sunoaki" (SDP), which was released on the same day.
The weather in Tokyo that day was a mixture of rain and snow. Suda greeted with a smile, "Thank you for coming to interview me in this cold weather! I'm happy to be able to release the photo book I've always dreamed of! It was forecast to rain today, but when I looked just now, it had turned to snow, and I felt happy that I was being celebrated."
She said that every page of the photobook was carefully crafted, and reflected on the shoot, saying, "I paid a lot of attention to the blank spaces and the composition so that the book would end with a smile. I also have fond memories of taking photos with my mother and my beloved dog." When asked to rate the photos, she immediately replied, "100 million points out of 100!" She also said, "I'd like to thank the staff for listening to my selfish requests."
At the end of the press conference, the manager read out a letter from her mother as a surprise. "I was able to have a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Thank you for the exciting and thrilling times," the message read. Suda wiped away tears as she listened to the message and said with a smile, "I am the one who is supported by my mother more than her, so I wanted to give back to her even a little, and I'm glad that she was excited." She laughed and said, "My manager is not fair! He came here to make me cry." At the end, she asked the reporters, "I'm all torn up, but do you think I'm cute?" and when she answered, "I'm cute!", she smiled.
Suda was a regular on the popular TBS program "Ravit!" (Monday to Friday at 8:00 am) from October to December last year, and has been appearing as a regular on the Friday season since January this year. She has been garnering attention as "the cutest idol of the Reiwa era."
The photobook focuses on Suda's natural appearance, rather than her appearance as an idol. It includes summery shots at the beach or pool, girlfriend-like shots at hot spring resorts and cafes, and transparent shots in the silvery world of winter. A4 size, 112 pages. Price: 3,300 yen.
