It has been announced that the idol group Sakurazaka46, who will serve as ambassadors, will be holding a stage event at AnimeJapan 2025, one of the world's largest anime events. During the event, members of Sakurazaka46 will be on stage to introduce the highlights of AnimeJapan and talk with guests. Details of the stage program will be announced in the future.
AnimeJapan is an event that started in 2014, and this will be its 12th time. Following on from the previous event, which recorded over 130,000 visitors, the event will be held on the largest scale yet at the East Exhibition Hall 1-8 and Conference Tower of Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo). A record 117 companies will exhibit, including Aniplex, KADOKAWA, and TOHO animation.
The public days will be March 22nd and 23rd, the business days will be March 24th and 25th, and the "Family Anime Festa 2025" for families and kids will be held on March 22nd and 23rd.
