Korean actor Jung Hae-in (36) made his first appearance on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) on February 19th. He talked about his feelings for his Japanese fans and the Japanese he has recently learned.
When she met Tetsuko, Haein greeted her in Japanese, saying, "I'm very nervous. Please support me."
He made his full-fledged acting debut in 2014. In 2018, he appeared in the drama "Pretty Sister Who Treats Me Often" and became a hot topic with the nickname "the nation's younger boyfriend." Hee-in expressed his joy, saying, "I was surprised to hear that Tetsuko had watched the drama I appeared in, and I'm really grateful."
Last October, he held his fourth fan meeting in Japan, and tickets immediately sold out. "I hold a fan meeting once a year in Japan, but the one I held in 2024 was more memorable than any other fan meeting before. I received a lot of support from everyone," he said.
Hye-in said she was looking forward to eating in Japan. When asked by Tetsuko about Korean food she would recommend, she said, "I like meat, so I would recommend seasoned kalbi and bulgogi."
When asked about the Japanese she learned, she introduced herself by saying, "Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. My name is Haein. I'm a Korean actor. I'll do my best, so please support me." Recently, she learned the Japanese phrase "I really love you" from a fan, and she uses it when greeting people.
Regarding his appearance on the show, Haein said, "I was really nervous at first, but Tetsuko helped me relax and I was able to relax." He then addressed his Japanese fans with a smile, saying, "I appeared on a show like this in Japan! I'm sure you're all surprised. From now on, I would like to continue to take part in many productions that you can enjoy. I will come to you with those productions, so please support me. I hope that 2025 brings you many good things!"
