It has been revealed that the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00am and others) wrapped up filming on February 11th. The station announced this on February 13th.
" Omusubi" began filming on March 23rd of last year, and filming in the studio finished on February 7th. Hashimoto commented, "When I watched the digest video of ' Omusubi' made for the wrap-up, I was moved to tears as I remembered all the scenes we shot in this studio, from tearful scenes to everyday scenes of laughter. I really liked the scenes with the Yoneda family having trivial conversations. I think ' Omusubi' is a work that viewers can feel close to."
Regarding the heroine she played, she reflected, "Yoneda Yui is not the kind of person you'd see in textbooks who is great or has accomplished something, but while playing the role of Yui, I learned a lot and thought a lot about how each and every person is alive, connected in the world and supporting each other."
"It was really fun to work with so many staff members and do so much filming both on location and in this studio. I was also amazed that more than 2,000 people, including extras, appeared in the film. Thank you so much!" he said, expressing his gratitude.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who always values her own individuality and connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist with her "gal spirit". It is an original work by Nonji Nemoto, a screenwriter known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate".
