It has been announced that Nozomu Kotaki of the popular group "WEST." will be making a guest appearance on the 21st episode of the musical program "Live Broadcast! Yoshio Inoue Musical Hour 'Yoshio's Mu'," which will be broadcast and streamed live on WOWOW on March 19th.
WOWOW will be featuring special content over the next few months, including an original live performance by WEST., which celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, as well as behind-the-scenes and interview specials. To add a touch of glamour to the collaboration, Kotaki, who has also been active in musical productions, has been confirmed to appear.
Kotaki will star in musicals "The Beautiful Game" in 2023 and "Death Takes a Holiday" in 2024, and is also set to star in the new musical "Itaewon Class" to begin performances in June 2025. This will be his first time acting alongside Inoue, and on the show you can hear Kotaki talk about his thoughts on musicals and his enthusiasm for "Itaewon Class," as well as his first singing performance with Inoue.

I never dreamed I'd be able to co-star in this way with Yoshio Inoue, a huge star in the Japanese entertainment industry. And to even be able to sing with him is like a dream come true. I'll do my best not to hold him back. In the show, I hope to convey to the best of my ability the appeal of musicals and my feelings about musicals. This will be my third year in a row taking on a musical, and I'm a fan of "Itaewon Class" myself, so I'm really excited. Let's have a great time together!
