◇The following contains spoilers.
Wu Tie learns from his ex-wife, Hiroe (Tomoko Yamaguchi), that Hao, a staff member of the "Blaze Bulls," is his son. Wu Tie is shaken, thinking, "Do I have to become a father now...? Now of all times?"
Meanwhile, the Bulls' training camp took place. That night, when Hao invited Wu Tie to play table tennis, Wu Tie revealed that he had no memory of his father because he had been raised by his grandmother, and confessed his true feelings, saying, "Honestly, I don't want to carry any extra burdens." Hao was shocked by Wu Tie's words and could only say, "Even if it's an extra burden, I'm still your son."
After the training camp, Wu Tie's feelings had changed, and he invited Hao to go to a public bath. While bathing with Hao, Wu Tie apologized, saying, "I'm sorry. I was putting too much pressure on myself. I felt burdened by the idea that I had to be a father." The scene then depicts him suggesting, "It's a little late, but how about we try being a new kind of father and son?"
Social media was buzzing with comments like, "Gotetsu invited Sora to the public bath!", "It's awkward, but it's nice that he invited him to the public bath", "The scene of Gotetsu and Sora taking a bath together at the public bath was heartwarming and wonderful", "There were some heartbreaking moments for Gotetsu and Sora, but it's good that they became a new father-son pair", and "I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next for this new father-son pair."
The drama follows Wu Tetsuya, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he solves difficult problems facing the underdog team "Blaze Bulls" from his unique perspective. It's a story of redemption where the team, friends, and family reconnect.
