The second episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sunday 9pm) starring actor Tori Matsuzaka was broadcast on January 26th. Airu Kubozuka, who plays the role of Kenta Jigen, a student in class 3-2, became a hot topic on social media.

The story is about a Ministry of Education bureaucrat, Mikami (Matsuzaka), who wants to change education in Japan, who is transferred to a private high school, Rintoku Gakuin. Although it is a demotion, Mikami himself takes to the podium and leads 18-year-old high school students living in the Reiwa era, while standing up to authority.
Kanzaki (Takako Tokiwa) visits Saejima (Daiken Okudaira), who left Rintoku Academy and is now working at a convenience store. However, Saejima says, "Why should I talk to you?" and leaves the convenience store.
Meanwhile, Jigen arrives and greets Kanzaki with a "Hey!" and a cheerful peace sign. "You know Mr. Saejima is at that convenience store, right? Want me to help you out? I can be of help. I won a prize in the national math contest, and my special skill is programming. Isn't that amazing for a liberal arts student?" he says with a smile.
Kanzaki refused, saying, "I don't need any help." Jigen was then seen chasing after Kanzaki, cheerfully saying, "Wait for me!"
Airu's father, actor Yosuke Kubozuka, appeared in the TV drama "GTO" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV) broadcast in 1998. He played the role of Yoshito Kikuchi, a student of Eikichi Onizuka (Takashi Sorimachi) who is adept at using computers.
It seems that some viewers were reminded of Kikuchi, with comments such as "Airu Kubozuka reminds me of Kubota Yosuke from GTO", " Airu Kubozuka as Mikami Sensei is just like Kubota Yosuke from GTO", "His talent for programming reminds me of Kubota's role in GTO!" and " Airu Kubozuka looks just like Kubota Yosuke.
