The manga " The Mission: Yozakura Family " by Hitsuji Gondaira , which was also adapted into a TV anime, reached its final chapter in issue 8 of the magazine "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), released on January 20th, bringing the curtain down on its approximately five and a half year serialization. The story was featured in the center color of the issue with the headline "The daily life of a blooming family. Let's all welcome it together...". The 28th volume of the comic will be released on February 4th, and the 29th and final volume on March 4th.
" The Mission: Yozakura Family" began serialization in the magazine in August 2019. It is a "spy family comedy" that depicts the extremely shy high school student Taiyo Asano, who marries his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura, the daughter of the most powerful spy family, and his activities as a member of the spy family.
The first season of the TV anime aired on MBS and TBS's Sunday 5pm anime slot from April to October. The second season will air in 2026.
