◇The following contains spoilers.
In the first episode, babysitter Sachiko Tachibana (Sasaki) visits the home of Reina, a pianist and influencer. She meets with Reina, who is looking for a babysitter for her newborn daughter Kokoro (Shibata Haruno), but Reina tries to turn down Sachiko, who does not have enough experience. Reina feels uneasy about Sachiko's desperate persistence, but she notices the rash around Kokoro's mouth and realizes that she has a food allergy, and so she hires her as a babysitter.
In fact, Sachiko's true identity was Bando Yukiko (Watari Mai), who attended the same high school as Reina 14 years ago. At the time, her father was suspected of murder and she was mocked as the "murderer's daughter." Reina, a junior at the time, was Yukiko's only ally. One day, Yukiko, who trusted Reina wholeheartedly, was called to the music room by Reina at night... and so the story unfolds.
In the story, Sachiko recalls that when Sachiko is called into the music room, she sees Reina standing in front of her, covered in blood and smiling, holding scissors. The teacher who Reina appears to have stabbed is lying on the floor, and Sachiko steps back in fear as Reina approaches.
Reina, smiling at the frightened Sachiko, said, "Don't worry, you did it, Sachiko-senpai!" and stabbed Sachiko in the side with the scissors, then she grabbed the suffering Sachiko by her hair, raised her up, and stabbed her again with the scissors. Then, to make it look like Sachiko was the perpetrator, Reina had Sachiko hold the murder weapon, the scissors, and said, smiling, "Thanks, Sachiko-senpai," and struck a match and set the room on fire with a smile.
On social media, many people expressed their fear at the insane appearance of Reina. Comments included "Shibuya Nagisa's bizarre acting is too scary," "Reina is so scary it sent chills down my spine," "Nagisa is so good at playing a psychopath," "Her smile is scary," "She's more of a psychopath than I imagined," and "I'm shaking with suffocating fear."
