Kyoko Yoshine:“I will not run away from anything, I will stand up to it!”　Is she ready to pick up on all the jokes made by her senior actors?

Actor Kyoko Yoshine “Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!” (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), which starts on January 14th and stars in her lead role, held in Tokyo on January 8th. She declared, "I won't run away from anything in this work."

The drama is based on Mizutani Midori's manga "Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!", "My flustered doctor internship" and "I've just arrived as a doctor intern on a remote island" (KADOKAWA). The drama follows the protagonist, a doctor intern who wishes to be happy, as she faces the challenges of veteran doctors in a medical setting in the changing Reiwa era due to work style reforms. Although she is taken aback when she is sarcastically told that "interns are customers," she faces the challenges of veteran doctors, encourages her peers and faces life as a doctor and a woman over the course of two intense years. Yoshine plays Wakatsuki Madoka, a modern doctor intern in her first year.

On this day, 500 fans gathered to watch the first episode ahead of everyone else. Yoshine greeted the audience by saying, "I'm excited that it's finally starting, and I'm happy to see everyone's faces today." Regarding her character Madoka, she said, "She's a girl who has a strong sense of joy, anger, sadness, and happiness, so it feels really good to play her."

Also attending the event were Takahashi Hikaru, who plays Madoka's fellow intern, and popular group Naniwa Danshi's Onishi Ryusei, Yoshimura Kaito, and Konishi Sakurako. Suzuki Nobuyuki, who plays Madoka's supervising doctor, was absent. The event was hosted by the network's announcer Hibi Manoko, and announcer Nanba Masatoshi also made an appearance.

In honor of Madoka's avid fan of the professional baseball team Yokohama DeNA Baystars, the event also featured a strikeout event, where participants answered questions written on a target that was shot with a ball. In response to the question, "What is something you've decided not to run away from?", Yoshine replied, "I've decided not to run away from anything in this work, I've decided to face it head on. So I'll pick up all of Sato Ryuta's (who plays the senior doctor) jokes!" She then declared to her fellow cast members, "I won't run away from anything. So come anytime. I won't let you be alone!"
