Kanna Hashimoto:"I'm really excited" to see B'z perform the theme song "Omusubi" at the Kohaku for the first time

Actor Kanna Hashimoto appeared at the rehearsal for the 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen(general and other channels) held at the NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on December 30th. Hashimoto, who will be hosting Kouhaku for the third consecutive year, said, "Even though it's my third time, I don't think I've ever gotten used to it. I'm very honored to have had the opportunity to do it three times."

This year, rock unit B'z will be making their first appearance at the Kohaku Uta Gassen and will perform "Illumination," the theme song for the Asadora drama series "Omusubi," in which Hashimoto stars.

Hashimoto expressed her excitement, saying, "I'm really happy. We're currently filming ' Omusubi' and everyone, both the cast and staff, are really happy for me. On the day of the announcement, I was like 'Yay!' on set, so I'm really excited to be able to hear B'z's song, which I listen to every morning."

The 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will be broadcast on December 31st from 7:20pm to 11:45pm (with some news breaks). Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Hashimoto, Sari Ito, and announcer Naoko Suzuki will be the hosts.
