To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the popular anime series "Gundam," it has been revealed that a best album of the series' soundtracks will be released on March 26, 2025. This will be the first time that a best album of the soundtracks from all series will be released. The jacket will feature Gundam and Char's Zaku, designed by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara.
Based on a fan vote held on the Sunrise Music official website between November 15 and December 8, the soundtracks for each work will be included on a 6-CD set. Details will be announced in the future.
It was also announced that the original soundtracks for Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash and Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island, which were previously only available digitally, as limited editions in theaters, and as bundled copies of video products, will be released to the general public on February 26, 2025.
