A preview of the January 2025 episode of "Ultraman Arc" series, has been released, revealing that a new monster, the dream beast Gillbug, will appear in the 24th episode, "Dancing Dream," which will air on January 11. Holding a mysterious blue sphere in its center, the mysterious Gillbug attacks Ultraman Arc(= Yuuma).
In episode 24, "The Descending Illusion," the story begins after Ark disappears in a big explosion after a fierce battle with Trigueros. Ultraman Arc suddenly appears in front of Yuuma, who wakes up in the dark, and tells him a new truth: "The past 16 years have all been an illusion."
A cut from episode 25, "Run, Yuuma!", the final episode to be broadcast on January 18th, was also released. Despite being overwhelmed by the attacks of the Gilbugs, Yuuma is forced to say goodbye to Arc. Yuuma comes to his final decision while facing his own past... This is the story.
On January 4th, "Special Compilation: To Everyone at SKIP Hoshimoto City Branch Office" will be broadcast.
The theme of "Ultraman Arc" is "the power of imagination."Yuma Hize, a rookie researcher who has just joined the SKIP Monster Science Research Institute, becomes one with an emissary of light that descended on Earth from a faraway galaxy, and becomes a giant Ultraman Arc to protect the future of humans and the Earth from an impending crisis. It airs every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo.
A film based on the same work, "Ultraman Arc THE MOVIE: Hyperdimensional Decisive Battle! Ark of Light and Darkness," will be released on February 21, 2025.
