Red Cat Ramen:The second season of the TV anime series will be produced based on the popular "Jump+" series

On December 21, it was announced that a second season of the TV anime " Red Cat Ramen, " based on the manga by Angyaman currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump + (Plus)," will be produced. The announcement was made at the "Jump Festa 2025" event being held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City).

"Red Cat Ramen" was submitted as a manga in November 2021 to the public web service "Jump Rookie!", where it was selected as the number one manga in the "Jump+ Serial Competition Ranking" project, and began an indie serialization. The comic was released in October 2022, and began a regular serialization on "Shonen Jump+" from the 30th chapter released that same month. It has gained popularity, ranking fifth in the web manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022".

The story is set in Red Cat Ramen run only by cats, where a human named Tamako is put in charge of looking after the cats. The show depicts the "cat patterns" glimpsed through brushing, and the human relationships woven by the various customers. The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September this year.
