It has been announced that former Nogizaka46 member and actor Hina Higuchi will star in the horror drama "Love's Gekijo: Noroi wo Ageru" (Sunday midnight 12:45), which will begin airing on TV Tokyo from January 5, 2025. Love's Gekijo is a mini-drama series produced by popular producer Nobuyuki Sakuma. Kazebuki Kei and Gunpi, who are familiar faces on Sakuma's YouTube channel NOBROCK TV, will also appear in this production.
The drama depicts the "extreme night" that unfolds when classmates gather for the first time in 10 years and are trapped in a school controlled by vengeful spirits. The script was written by Ryoichi Tsuchiya, who has worked on popular shows such as Netflix's "Talk Survivor!". Also appearing in the series are model and actor Yutaro, and Kabashima Hikaru and Oto Abe, who became popular for their roles in the "Kamen Rider" series.
Higuchi, who plays the main character Nishimura Eri, commented, "It's scary, but I think it's also interesting because it makes you think about what is going on. I played the role of Eri, and I found myself getting tossed around in the fast-paced storyline. The days of filming were so tough that I wondered if dawn would ever come. But I got through it with the help of the staff and my co-stars. I hope everyone enjoys it until the end."
