The Japan finals of the 12th Gunpla Builders World Cup (GBWC, Gunpla World Cup), a contest to determine the world's best Gunpla (plastic model) builders from the anime Gundam series, were held on December 14th at Gundam Base Tokyo (Koto-ku, Tokyo). It was announced that FA Green's "Regeneration" won the OVER-21 course for those aged 21 and over, and was selected to represent Japan. The diorama depicts the activation scene of the revived Turn X, now in a new form. It took about four months to make. It is a combination of 40 to 50 different kits based on the Turn X from the MG series.
He paid particular attention to the shape and color of the Moonlight Butterfly, and used curved parts to create a terrifying yet beautiful appearance. The judges commented, "It has a captivating appeal when viewed from afar, and when you look at it up close, you realize why this part was used here! It incorporates designs from past Gundams, and is a profound expression that gives a sense of the profoundness of Gundam's history."
FA Green was previously selected to represent Japan in the U-20 course (ages 15 and over, under 20) in 2022. Although he narrowly missed out on becoming world champion that year, he is aiming to reach the top to get revenge.

From May, regional competitions will be held in each area, and representatives will be selected. Each representative will compete in the world competition finals on February 22, 2025.
In the U-14 course, Yuwashii's "To a Friend...", and in the U-20 course, Hikonatu's "Beyond The AXIZ" were selected to represent Japan.
