Kanna Hashimoto stars in the NHK morning drama " Omusubi " (General Asadora , Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others). The 12th week of the drama, "What is working?", will begin on December 16th.

After graduating from a vocational school and obtaining a nutritionist license, Yui (Hashimoto) begins working in the cafeteria of the company where her boyfriend Shoya (Sano Hayato) works.

However, Tachikawa (Miyake Hiroki), the person in charge of the company cafeteria, refuses to let Yui participate in planning the menu as a nutritionist. Yui is useless at preparing food and taking orders, so she ends up just doing the washing up.

Meanwhile, a new strong hitter, Okawachi, joins the baseball team, and Shoya begins to come under scrutiny.

" Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who always values her own individuality and who, as a nutritionist, connects people's hearts and futures. It is an original work by screenwriter Nonji Nemoto, known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate."
