It has been announced that a special event for the anime " My Hero Academia ," based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), called " My Hero Academia HERO×VILLAIN FES" will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on August 17, 2025. The event will be held at the largest venue ever for the series, and will bring together Daiki Yamashita actors of heroes and Katsuki Bakugo, including Nobuhiko Okamoto (voice of Izuku Midoriya ), Ayane Sakura (voice of Katsuki Bakugo), Yuki Kaji Kenta Miyake (voice of All Might ) , Koki Uchiyama (voice of Tomura Shigaraki) , Hiro Shimono (voice of Tomura Shigaraki), Hiro Shimono (voice of Dabi/ Toya Todoroki ), and Misato Fukuen (voice of Himiko Toga).
A priority ticket application ticket for the event will be included as a bonus in the Plus Ultra version of the Blu-ray Disc and DVD of the animated film " My Hero Academia: You're Next," which will be released on February 19, 2025.
"My Hero Academia" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in July 2014, and the final episode aired in August, bringing the curtain down on the nearly 10-year serialization. Set in a world where about 80% of the population has supernatural powers and quirks, the story follows Deku, also known as Izuku Midoriya, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide. It has also been announced that the eighth and final season of the TV anime, "FINAL SEASON," will be produced and aired in 2025.
