The second cast of the movie " My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 " (directed by Mizuki Yamashita ), which will be released on March 28, 2025 and will feature the double lead roles of popular group HiHi Jets Ryuto Sakuma and former Nogizaka46 member and actor Rui Tsukishima Rui, comedian Suzuki Mogura from the comedy duo Kuuki Kaidan, singer-songwriter and actor Koda Mahiru, actor Mizuki Kayashima, and Maeda Oshiro.
"My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999" is a live-action film adaptation of the popular manga of the same name by Mashiro, which is currently being serialized on the manga app "GANMA!". The original work was selected as the grand prize winner at the "6th TSUTAYA Comic Awards" and has sold over 5.5 million copies in total. It was also ranked first in a survey in the summer 2024 issue of the magazine "Seventeen" as "the manga people want to see adapted into a TV drama or movie."
Akane (Yamashita), a university student who has just been dumped by her boyfriend, meets Yamada (Sakuma), a high school pro gamer with a very cold attitude, in an online game. However, Yamada, who she thought was unsociable and cold, is actually the "strongest gap guy". Although he is usually "very cold", Akane is gradually drawn to Yamada's unconscious kindness, which she glimpses at random times. However, despite having zero interest in romance, he turns out to be an "impregnable and powerful opponent" who is extremely popular... This is the story.
The cast announced this time will feature the unique characters surrounding Yamada and Akane. NOA will play Eita, Yamada's friend and guild master of the online game "Forest Of Savior," which is how Yamada and Akane met. This will be his first film appearance, as he will be a character who warmly watches over Akane's love life and the guild.
Tsukishima will be playing the role of Eita's younger sister, Luna. She dresses in Lolita fashion and is a cute but sharp-tongued character at first glance, but her way of interacting with people gradually changes after meeting Akane.
In addition, Suzuki will play Kamoda, the oldest member of the guild, Koda will play Momoko, Akane's best friend who attends the same university, Kayashima will play Tsubaki, Yamada's high school classmate who secretly has feelings for Yamada, and Maeda will play Okamoto, another classmate of Yamada.
