Assassination Classroom:Anime 10th Anniversary Project Launched Fuji TV to Rebroadcast All 47 Episodes Over the Year Koro-Sensei Shrine Revived

It has been revealed that a project called "Assassination Classroom 10th Anniversary Time" will be launched to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of the anime "Assassination Classroom", which is based on the popular manga by Matsui Yusei. As the first part, all 47 episodes of the TV anime will be rebroadcast over the course of a year starting in April 2025 on Fuji TV and other stations. To commemorate the 10th anniversary, a visual featuring Koro-sensei and the students of Class 3-E and a 10th anniversary logo have been released. Details of the second and third parts of the project will be announced at a later date.

The announcement was made at Fujiani 2025, an event held in Tokyo on December 9th to announce the latest information on Fuji Television's anime.

It was also announced that to commemorate the 10th anniversary, the "Korosensei Shrine" will be exhibited at the Fuji TV Mall on the first floor of Fuji TV headquarters (Minato-ku, Tokyo) from December 28th. The "Korosensei Shrine" was set up at the "Korosensei SHOP THE WINTER" in the spherical observation deck "Hachitama" on the 25th floor of the Fuji TV headquarters during the anime broadcast, but will be "revived" for a limited time in the Reiwa era. Character standees with 10th anniversary visuals will also be set up.

Original author Matsui commented, "Just like school life back in the day, Assassination Classroom started, and it seems like just the other day that we graduated. We are thankful to have been able to do a lot of things for the 10th anniversary of the anime. Why not take this opportunity to have an assassination class reunion, whether it be in person or through social media? I would like to make an appearance if I get the chance, and I would be happy if this becomes an opportunity for everyone to reminisce about Assassination Classroom, reread it, rewatch it, and get together again!!"

"Assassination Classroom" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from July 2012 to March 2016. The story revolves around Koro-sensei, a mysterious creature who evaporated 70% of the moon, who becomes the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School, a school filled with underachievers, and the students attempt to assassinate him.

The TV anime aired from January to June 2015 and January to June 2016. The spin-off, Korosensei Q (Quest)!, was also made into an anime. A live-action movie starring Hey! Say! JUMP's Yamada Ryosuke was also released.
