Kanna Hashimoto stars in the NHK morning drama "Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others). The 11th week, "What is employment?", will begin on December 9th.
Sasaki Yuma (Ichinose Wataru), Ayumu's (Naka Riisa) business partner, suddenly shows up at the Yoneda house and tells Ayumu about a job offer in Los Angeles.
Yui (Hashimoto) tries to stop Ayumu from getting ready for the trip, but Ayumu says that he is a nuisance to his best friend's father, Takao Watanabe (Naoto Ogata), who died in the earthquake. Meanwhile, Yui is in her second year at a nutrition vocational school and begins her job hunt in earnest, but she faces many hardships.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who always values her own individuality and who, as a nutritionist, connects people's hearts and futures. It is an original work by screenwriter Nonji Nemoto, known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate."
